On 13th September 1988, Mr. Truong Gia Binh has founded FPT together with twelve other Vietnamese scientists. Under his guidance, FPT has become a leading ICT conglomerate in Vietnam with revenue of more than $1 billion in 2019. In honor of his contribution to Vietnamese IT sector, he has received Nikkei Asia Prize 2013 in the category of regional growth.He’s interested in the development of Industrial Revolution 4.0, Digital Transformation, and Artificial Intelligence among other topics.Since 2001, he has founded Vietnam Software Association and remains its Chairman since then. He has been Associate Professor since 1991, Dean of Business Administration Department of Hanoi School of Business, Hanoi National University from 1995 to 2013 and the Chairman of Vietnam Young Enterprises Organization from 1998 to 2005.Mr. Binh received his Bachelor of Sciences in 1979 from Mechanical Mathematics Department of Moscow National General University, Lomonosov. He obtained his PhD in 1982 from the same institution.
