Daniel Weyl brings over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor and automotive software industries. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of R&D at NXP Semiconductors in Munich, Germany, where he has been since November 2023. Before this, he held the position of Vice President of Software R&D at NXP for over seven years, specializing in automotive processing.
Since November 2020, Daniel has also contributed as a Board Member at the ITEA Office, where he continues to drive innovation in the industry. Prior to his tenure at NXP, Daniel spent eight years at Freescale Semiconductor, where he advanced from Automotive Software Manager to Director of Automotive Software.
Daniel’s career began at BMW, where he managed research and technology projects for nearly 11 years. He holds a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
