From developing real-time 3D simulators for Google's microphone arrays to optimizing Facebook's News Feed ranking models, Ngan has consistently pushed the boundaries of AI applications in complex systems. At DeepMind, she architected an intelligent scheduling platform for machine learning workloads before advancing to pioneering work in reinforcement learning for chip design, where her team's innovations earned first place at IWLS 2023.

A Yale graduate with both a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Statistics & Data Science, Ngan brings a unique perspective combining deep technical expertise with broad system-level understanding. Her early research at Yale School of Medicine's Krishnaswamy Lab, applying machine learning to biological systems, laid the foundation for her current work optimizing complex hardware systems. Trilingual in Vietnamese, English, and French, with a background spanning from Vietnam's prestigious Hanoi-Amsterdam School for the Gifted to London's AI research hub, she brings a truly global perspective to technological innovation.
